But I was wondering.. what media player should I use? I normally use VLC but it doesn't seem to work on that for me... :\

gomen nasai...i'm not familiar with VLC ^^'
but i use WMP ^^
as long as the subs file and video file have the same names, WMP automatically 'combines' the subs with the clip ^^

hm... I can't get the subtitles to show up with WMP... not that I've ever been able to get them to work when other people have for the same files... I think my computer just is ... evil? ^^;;
But, I was able to eventually find a program that could play it. :)
